Street Lighting, Outdoor Lighting and Traffic Signals FAQs
I lease my parking lights from a vendor. Does that mean he would have to apply to get the incentive even if it's on my property?
The person or organization whose name is on the utility bill is the one who applies for the incentive.
We are replacing mercury vapor streetlights with high-pressure sodium streetlights,
but our existing and proposed wattage combination is not listed on the form. Can we still apply for incentives?
While the Streetlighting, Outdoor Area Lighting, and Traffic Signals Program incentives are only for the specific wattage and technology
combinations listed on the form, projects with other combinations or technology may apply for incentives through the Non-Standard Lighting
Incentive Program. (Note: When applying for streetlighting through the Non-Standard Lighting Incentives Program, please use 4,395 hours
in column W of the Non-Standard Lighting Calculator.)
Are yellow LED traffic signals eligible for incentives?
I do not see them on the Streetlighting, Outdoor Area Lighting and Traffic Signals form.
Yellow LED traffic signals are only eligible for incentives through the Non-Standard Lighting for Business Program.
